PROJECT ForMica: Student-Run Publication

During my 3rd year as Editor in Chief of ForMica the other 3 editors who had rebirthed the publication each decided to leave ForMica and pursue other interests. This was enticing as I was given the opportunity to really make my mark on this publication as Editor in Chief. This issue was submitted and won an award in PRINT Magazine in 2003.

PROJECT ForMica: Student-Run Publication
DATE 2002
WORKTYPE Student
After the overwhelming acceptance of the Rebirth issue, MICA determined the only way to fund the publication was if they made it into a class. Anyone in any major could join the class and collectively determine a theme. As acting Editor, myself and the the other 3 rebirthing editors art directed the course with the oversight of a graphic design professor. This issue is entitled 'Comfort Zone' which focused on people's obsessions and fears though their own comfort zones.
